Staff Announcement - Yomi Ibrahim

Today, we are pleased to announce another great addition to The Golden Apple Foundation staff.  Yomi Ibrahim has joined Golden Apple as the Vice President of Finance.

Yomi has served The Golden Apple Foundation for more than one year as a Finance consultant and, in that time, has provided vital expertise in accounting, government compliance, and state-based funding services.

Prior to joining Golden Apple, Yomi spent many years working for non-profit organizations such as Heartland Alliance for Human Needs and Human Rights and Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago because he believed in their missions and saw first-hand the positive impact made by their programs. During this time, he gained valuable experience working with federal, state and local government grants, which has brought great value to The Golden Apple Foundation.  

Yomi earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Political Science and Accounting from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Master’s in Business Administration from Northern Illinois University.
